HOOPESTON POLICE DEPARTMENT ASKS RESIDENTS TO SIGN-UP TO RECEIVE LOCAL ALERTS

Hoopeston residents can now receive real time public safety messages through Nixle 

The Hoopeston Police Department has partnered with Nixle to implement its Community Notification System to alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories. 

As a resident, there are several simple ways to register:

1.      Text your ZIPCODE to 888777 from your mobile phone

2.      Go to www.hoopestonpolice.org and sign up via the Nexle Widget

3.      Sign-up and create a User Profile on www.nixle.com 

For the past several months we have looked for a reasonable, reliable, secure, and user friendly Community Notification System. Nixle offers all of this and at NO COST to the City of Hoopeston or the taxpayers! 

All Alerts will be targeted geographically, allowing residents to receive localized, relevant alerts from Hoopeston Police Department.
