Located in East Central Illinois, at the northernmost end of Vermilion County, the Hoopeston Police Department and it's 10 sworn officers and five civilian dispatchers are responsible for the protection of the City of Hoopeston and it's 5,400 residents. Utilizing modern community policing techniques, our personnel provide around-the-clock police protection for this rural community.
