K-9 Unit

On January 6, 2006 the Hoopeston Police Department welcomed their newest officer, Rheia, a Cane Corso drug dog.  With her partner, Officer Quentin Morgan, Rheia has already proven herself a productive and respected member of the police force.  Rheia is being used for vehicle and building searches and warrant service and is already credited with taking a substantial amount of drugs off the streets of Hoopeston.
